Oh! Answering this not-privately just in case anyone else was wondering haha. 

The official thing actually ended a few days ago!! But Dean is just super nice and told me to keep in contact and that I could still send him drawings and he’d help me out and give critiques and stuff HE’S JUST THE BEST, seriously.

He’s hilarious 100% of the time and he’s just such a nice person! We get along really well and I learned so much with him. It was a really cool experience overall : )

He told me we would have lunch if I ever go to California haha. So if anyone is wondering about applying next year (is it next year that they’re doing it again??) I totally recommend it! It made take drawing more seriously, I’ve been filling sketchbooks like crazy!
